This week's theme is Time.

At first glance, you may think this photo is an unlikely candidate for this week's theme. But to me, the beautiful colors of these autumn leaves growing on the side of a centuries-old building represent the passage of time in my neighborhood, how things change from one season to the next, and how with time, nothing stays the same!

oh yes the timing thing is so true... come back in a few weeks and it's gone. I just love buildings like that! How beautiful, great selection!

That's so pretty. I saw so many buildings looking like that on our trip to Italy.

Great take on the theme! That Virginia creeper/Boston ivy - what ever you call it - looks great on buildings, but it's very efficient on ruining the structures, too.

I played too.

I agree and think its a perfect choice for this week's theme. Mine is a bit the same. Where was yours taken? It looks like England or Scotland.
Happy Saturday!

Beautiful picture! Reminds me of the ivy we used to see all the time when we lived in Munich. Here in Malaysia everything is so new, nothing has a chance to grow ;) And of course, it's always summer here, so we never get a chance to see the beautiful fall colors (not that I'm complaining - perpetual summer is pretty nice too!)

I like summer very much, but you can find these beautiful colors only during fall time!
