A Window on Rome

This week's theme is Window(s).

This is my first week in the scavenger hunt; thanks to Expat Traveler for introducing me to it! The theme is perfect, because I just took this picture a couple days ago in Campo de' Fiori when I was out running errands. Rome has no shortage of beautiful windows with the typical shutters and flower boxes, and I never get tired of them.

I had one like it a while back from France.
There is no mistaking those Southern European windows!
Good job and welcome!
Mine's up too!
Happy Saturday!

I just love that photo. When we visited Italy a couple years ago, I just kept taking pictures of windows and more windows. They are so picturesque and I loved Italy.

Welcome to the Saturday fun!

That picture is beautiful! I've never been to Italy, but my husband (who's also never been to Italy) is Sicilian, and I am dying to go someday. I just love everything about it, from the architecture to the food to the people. I sound very enthralled for someone who's never visited, huh?

This is also my first time at playing the photo hunt... I loved the flower boxes and shutters on the buildings in Florence when we visited. So much color.

welcome to the hunt, and thanks for stopping by my site. :) I am so jealous that you live in Rome. I visited there last year, and just loved it. Plus, you snagged one of those Roman men. Lucky girl. ;)

Che bella! Although I personally like the house with the stuffed animals hanging out of the window. What WAS that?
